Essay Contest and Art Project

In 2004-2005, the Greensboro Symphony Guild sponsored an essay contest for the seventh-graders in Guilford County, and an art project for all of the third- and fourth-graders in Guilford County. These projects were based on themes from the 2004-2005 Symphonies for Youth Programs. The goal of the projects was to tie together the disciplines of art, music, and writing, and to allow the students to reflect on their concert experience.
